Artist's Comments

This is a serial plane design I did for my Three-Dimensional Design class.

We were required to make a sculpture out of the same two-dimensional shape repeating itself through space without changing anything of the cutout except for size and orientation.

Comments are appreciated :D

Thanks a lot. I have to admit seeing it in person is a bit less of a treat, but I'm OK with that since all I need is the photo for school anyways. :aww:

I guess you could say that I set up lighting, but it is basically all pre-setup at school. It's simply one very large light hanging from ropes (so I had to control it's height) above a table with paper on it.

But I agree, the lighting turned out way better than I could have hoped for :aww: It makes the piece look 10x better.
